This session is designed to help in practical day to day ways to get you started in Digital fundraising for your VCSE organisation.

Digital fundraising has become even more vital with recent events. This session will review how to approach crowdfunding, the advantages and disadvantages for organisations looking to explore this method of income generation.

The session will be led by Gemma Cartwright Sector Development Officer with SAVS, the CVS in Southend for 5 years, having previously worked for 15 years in international development NGOs (Non Governmental Organisations) and member of the institute of fundraising. Gemma’s experience is grounded in working with small and medium voluntary sector organisations to maximise their full potential. She has supported groups to realise income by various means and been part recently of online fundraising initiatives that have raised thousands to support local groups.
