Health Innovation NENC has been supporting the efforts to create a regional digital inclusion forum. We have been working with partners across the region to co-develop what this might look like. Our next forum brings together the existing and future members to continue the dialogue and identify best practices that can be shared across the region.

Please join us on Monday 9th September 2024 from 1:30-3:00pm to continue this great discussion and be part of a regional digital inclusion forum that supports, connects and drives an inclusive and accessible digital transformation agenda and supports ‘No one left behind’.

As in previous forums, the session will include time dedicated to the discussion around the speakers and how we take this forward.

During the session

We will keep participants muted whilst we are presenting. This avoids distracting our speakers and reduces sensory stimulation which is important for some people. However, if you wish to ask a question you can do this by adding it to the chatbox.

Please feel free to turn your camera on and off as you need to. If you need it off the whole time, that is totally fine.

If you need a break at any time during the session, then please leave the meeting and re-join again when you feel ready.

The Health Innovation North East and North Cumbria (HI NENC) is dedicated to improving healthcare and supporting wealth creation through partnership working and promotion of innovation across the NHS, Academia and Industry.

With a remit to provide system-wide integration, we facilitate interactions with multiple partner organisations across the region. Principally we work with the NHS Trusts, CCGs and Universities which form our core membership, and we collaborate closely with many other stakeholder groups. We support the inclusive, collegiate approaches that are needed to address shared problems at a system level.

Wealth Creation and Health Improvement have a common requirement for innovation. HI NEC supports all aspects of innovation across healthcare from creating a culture that supports the innovation through to the dissemination and adoption of effective practice and proven technologies.

We have therefore achieved the regional reach and the local buy-in that is necessary to deliver cross-organisational programmes to improve health and create wealth in the region.
