The Institute of Imagination, the cultural body working to create space for children to re-imagine the world, will open the doors of its new Imagination Lab in London as part of the Make:Shift:Do weekend (28th and 29th October 2016). The event will be free of charge.
Activities will include a pop up Digital Making Lab and children (ages 5-12) and their families will be encouraged to have fun and gain new experiences in using digital tools. Through the use of art, sound and storytelling all participants will get involved in creating animations by discovering how to build their own basic computer and code it as well as building their own sound robots.
All children must be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for their child during the visit. Please obtain a free ticket for all adults and children who will be attending.
