What's on the agenda?

Many Apps for Local Government Services are available to Citizens, as a result of years of channel shift. Whether these platforms are officially endorsed or inescapably recognised due to popular use, the scope of facilitating effective user friendly digital channels has continued to present the sector with both enabling agility and challenging complexity. Is the movement towards Single Sign-On (SSO) part and parcel of today's rapidly responsive and digitally disruptive demand? Does single sign-on eliminate duplication; data and processes for users and service providers?

Join us on this remarkable opportunity to gain a first-hand insight into the design, implementation and day-to-day dealings brought about by these emerging technologies and their incidental transactional trends. Bring your questions to our host of Speakers, as their active involvement in various ground-breaking initiatives across the Region could help you put your organisation’s concerns and ambitions to the test.

Ross McKelvie, ICT Projects Development Officer, Fylde Council - offering a technical perspective on the Digital Experts Programme: Lancaster, Preston and Fylde single sign-on portal.

John Fairclough, Business Solutions Analyst, Knowsley Council - offering a business perspective on the recent implementation and successful launch of "My Account" for Knowsley Council Residents Services.

Digital Managers' Forum

The Digital Mangers’ Forum is held quarterly and is part of iNetwork's Innovative Access to Public Services Programme (IAPS).

The Forum exists to support the work of web and digital services within public sector organisations because it is an increasingly important customer access channel. Some organisations are finding that their web teams are shrinking and yet the reliance on the web as a channel to communicate and transact with customers is growing.

Why Attend?

The Forum is designed to provide space for organisations to learn and share best practice. You will have an opportunity to hear from peers across the public sector and to contribute your own ideas, opinions and experiences.

You will also have the chance to discuss anything digitally related at the open learn and share part of the session - so if you have any burning issues to bring to the table to ask your peers, this is your opportunity to do so.

Who Should Attend?

This forum is open to any public sector practitioner that has responsibility for delivering their organisation's web channel or digital strategy.

Places are limited so be sure to register for this event without delay. We look forward to you joining us at the astonishing Glendower Hotel for a very rewarding morning.
