Join our tour and talks at the world-class science and innovation campus at Sci-Tech Daresbury to learn more about the incredible facilities, space and companies who are making advancements in manufacturing.

We will take a tour around the Hartree Centre, part of UK Research and Innovation, Hartree stimulates innovation, creates value for organisations they work with, and generates economic and societal impact for the UK through digital technologies.

You will then head to the Campus Technology Hub which is a versatile and dynamic space for ambitious early-stage companies to thrive amongst the collaborative and innovative environment of Sci-Tech Daresbury.

Enjoy a tour around the Virtual Engineering Centre which sits within the University of Liverpool’s IDEAS (Institute of Digital Engineering and Autonomous Systems) and works to bridge the innovation gap between academic research and new product and process development.

End the day with a cultural tour around Norton Priory once home to a medieval church, this is the most excavated monastic site in Europe. Visitors can explore the 12th -century undercroft with beautiful, vaulted ceiling and the priory ruins showing the layout of the medieval buildings.

11:00 am - Register at ACC Liverpool and onboard a coach

12:00 pm - Arrive at Sci-Tech Daresbury Campus

2:15-3:00 pm – Norton Priory Museum & Gardens

3 pm - Back on the coach to Liverpool

4 pm - Return to ACC Liverpool

Dress code:

Please be advised, you should wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear for the tour, especially for Norton Priory as you will be outdoors walking the ruins.

Accessibility:

Sci-Tech Daresbury is fully accessible and Norton Priory has paths around the ruins and has level access with occasional ramps to access the outside and the 12th century undercroft. There is a lift to the first floor gallery.
