Description

Digital Union are happy to announce that, following the success of our new Digital Marketing Meetup, we will be hosting a full Digital Marketing Day in September!

Every business, no matter the sector, will engage in some kind of digital marketing activity, whether it is social media, content marketing, video, podcasting, or SEO. In 2019, it's now becoming much harder to cut through the noise and get noticed by a world of distracted customers and clients. Digital marketing is now about having an open conversation with our customers, rather than broadcasting one-way information.

The aim of this day is to encourage discussion with business owners, marketing managers, marketing executives, freelancers, and students about changing trends in digital marketing and ideas around social media, SEO & SEM, proximity marketing, mobile apps, trends, engagement and more!

Agenda is as follows:

9:30 - Doors open

10:15 - Introduction from Generator

10:20 - Geoff Philips - Canvas Marketing: Why the Demand Marketing Funnel is Relevant to Any Business. From demand tactics and nurture journeys to lead scoring and sales opportunities – an interactive session including advice and idea sharing to support your demand marketing strategy.

11:05 - Break for teas and coffees

11:15 - Panel: Next Generation Marketing: How Do We Adapt? Featuring Dan Appleby (MD at Drummond Central), Alex Kay (Marketing Manager at Bdaily), Simon Lister (Marketing Director at END. Clothing), and Gilbert Corrales (Co-Founder of Leaf Grow).

12:00 - Lunch

13:00 - Ade-Lee Adebiyi - Make It Pop: A Design Thinking Workshop For Marketers. Join the make it pop team as they give you a crash course in building your creative confidence and design thinking using make it pop. They will give you examples of how to become a better design thinker and how to apply it to your day to day marketing. All you need to bring is an open mind.

14:30 - Break

14:40 - Nick Varley - Websand: Link Your Marketing to Your Customer's Behaviour, a Seminar Around the Importance of Customer Retention. From demand tactics and nurture journeys to lead scoring and sales opportunities – an interactive session including advice and idea sharing to support your demand marketing strategy.

15:10 - Break

15:20 - Helen Precious - Wordnerds: A talk around the use of AI within marketing, trends (including potential trends that have not yet hit the market), and practical applications.

16:05 - End and networking

Meet other Digital Union members as well as non-members and find out who’s doing what and when.
