I'm running the London Marathon 2017 - gulp - to raise money for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, wonderful people who cared for my Mum in the last days of her life.
I want to raise at least £2000. So how am I going to do that?
I'm going to put on a series of workshops in my spare time aimed at small business owners who want to get to grips with digital marketing and social media. My company, Sookio, gets enquiries like this in all the time, but nowadays when it comes to training, we can only focus on the larger companies. Which leaves all you lovely sole traders and freelancers and small business owners in need of training but nowhere to go!
Each workshop will be:
- Three hours on a Saturday afternoon
- Offer something for beginners - blogging, intro to digital marketing, how to use Twitter or Facebook
- Fun and practical!
- Get to chat with others in a similar position
I'm planning four workshops. £25 each, but book onto all four upfront and it's £75 for the lot. Sound good?
14 January 2017: Introduction to digital marketing
11 February 2017: Better blogging
11 March 2017: Twitter. Better!
15 April 2017: Facebook. Better!
