Are you a small business, one-man-band or freelancer looking for help in boosting your Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels, in need of expert tips in blogging, or ideas for how you can use digital marketing to reach your customers more effectively?
Kicking off in January 2017 we're running a series of monthly workshops to offer just this type of support.
But as well as helping you, we do have an ulterior motive!
Sookio is a digital marketing agency in Cambridge. Our director, Sue, is running the London Marathon to raise money for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, who were so kind and caring to her Mum when she passed away in December 2014.
She's going to be running the workshops in her spare time, with all the money going towards her fundraising effort.
Who are the workshops for?
Called 'Digital marketing on the run', they will be introductory level training sessions, specifically aimed at SMEs, charities and freelancers who want to get to grips with digital marketing, Facebook, Twitter and blogging.
As a business we mostly focus on very bespoke training for larger organisations, but we do get a steady flow of queries from smaller businesses looking for support. So we hope there will be plenty of you out there who will find the workshops useful.
In these Saturday afternoon group workshops you'll be able to ask all the 'silly' questions you like, try out new tools and techniques, and hopefully come away feeling a lot more confident in digital marketing.
What can you expect?
- Three hours on a Saturday afternoon
- Offer something for beginners - blogging, intro to digital marketing, how to use Twitter or Facebook
- Fun and practical!
- Get to chat with others in a similar position
How much will it cost?
Just £25 each. Or feel free to make a larger donation, it's all in a good cause!
