Nick Jedrzejewski on #Myunfilteredlife
The campaign has been running across social media with some fantastic images and messages that inspire followers to laugh, cry and ultimately empathise.
Although somewhere between 25% and 30% of us will experience a mental health problem this year, many people keep it hidden for fear of stigma and discrimination.
To reassure people they can speak out See Me worked with Edinburgh production company Something Something, the organisation behind last year’s viral Power of Okay campaign, to encourage people to post a picture online of the everyday, mundane or difficult experiences in their life. The idea was to counter the millions of pictures of apparent perfect lives that are posted every day.
Nick Jedrzejewski, media and communications officer at See Me, will talk us through the campaign from concept to execution, highlighting some of the challenges, obstacles and successes.
As always, we'll have time for questions and you'll get the chance to pick each other's brains about your own social media campaigns and ways to monitor their success.
