Description

The symposium intends to bring together internationally renowned experts from the fields of media and communication studies, politics and linguistics to explore the role of the media in today’s polarized social climate, but also the role they might play in responding to the challenges to democracy brought about by social polarization and fragmentation. Special emphasis will be paid to comparative research across time and space.
