At these regular sessions, we delve into tools that can transform your organising and answer your questions about making the most of them
About this event
Learn the fundamentals of different digital tools in these monthly learning lunchtime sessions - where Common Knowledge and Act Build Change cover a series of useful approaches to digital organising for you to take away and use in your own work.
If there are tools, tips or support you're looking for in particular - you can let us know when you reserve your spot and we'll do our best to accommodate your interests!
All ABC sessions are ‘pay what you can’, and free for those who are not able to afford a donation. Our speakers are all paid, donations enable us to add more to our pot to put on workshops and events like this and continue to pay future facilitators and speakers. If you would like to donate we recommend £7-10 to attend this session.
How do I join?
We’ll be hosting this meet up on the audio visual meeting platform Zoom. You’ll be able to access this event via your Eventbrite dashboard and we’ll send out a link on the day via email too.
We work to ensure that our spaces are as inclusive and accessible as possible but we know that we may not be aware of all access needs and support that those who want to attend will require. This event will have:
- Closed caption
- Scheduled breaks
- Plans available for anyone who needs them in advance
- All resources sent out to participants following the event
Should there be anything you need to support your to be able to participate well, please let us know when prompted to during registration. This includes but is not limited to language, comfort, access (physical, emotional, technological).
If you need any support getting set up on Zoom, are unable to register for a ticket via this site or have questions about accessibility or joining this event, please email Edi: edith@actbuildchange.com
Our spaces are not open to those who represent or are serving in institutions that disportionately harm marginalised communities, including the police, prison service, armed forces and the Home Office. This is because we work to centre the experiences of those who experience (multiple) oppressions including racism, (dis)ableism, classism, transphobia, homophobia, Islamophobia and antisemitism. By centering these experiences our spaces become safer, and more caring and accessible for everyone.
