About this event

Science & Tech • High Tech

AMRC Cymru, part of the University of Sheffield’s Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre, is hosting a drop-in event from 9 am–12 pm with a presentation at 10 am, providing an exciting opportunity for organisations across Wales to access fully-funded expert support to drive productivity and accelerate innovation. This event is designed for businesses keen to explore how digital technologies can transform operations, enhance resilience, and bring new products to market faster.

The event will showcase the SMART Digital & Productivity Accelerator (SDPA), a Welsh Government-funded initiative delivered in partnership with ITERATE Design, AMRC Cymru and the Innovation and Enterprise Professional Services. Attendees will learn how the programme can help their organisation through:

  • A three-day on-site diagnostic to identify unique opportunities and challenges.
  • Up to five days of hands-on implementation support to put recommendations into practice.
  • Access to expertise in Industry 5.0, automation, additive manufacturing, digital design, and process innovation.

Participants will discover practical ways to future-proof their operations, increase resilience, and successfully commercialise innovations, all through fully-funded support tailored to their business needs. Organisations interested in exploring this opportunity can complete an Expression of Interest form or arrange a meeting with our team to discuss how the programme can support their specific goals.
