Event description

Description

Digital Promise Global's Learner Variability Project (LVP) curates enormous amounts of the latest learning sciences research and provides free, open-source visualisations and tools to empower entrepreneurs, product designers and practitioners to understand learner variability and how to design for it. Many major EdTech products are using LVP to improve engagement and learning for their users.

We will be holding 2 workshops:

12-2pm: Infusing the latest Learning Science into the design of EdTech Products, Programs and Practice for Learner Success

For entrepreneurs and edtech developers, this workshop will be your chance to learn about learner variability, why it matters so much, and how you can use free research-based tools that will help embed learning science in your products and programmes so that more of your users succeed.

2-4pm: Understanding the Learning Science Research Relating to Learner Success

For researchers and practitioners, this workshop will be looking at the practical aspects of learning science and how to link the two.

Please note: All participants should come with an internet-enabled device with a screen larger than a Smartphone.

A light lunch will be provided between 1:45pm and 2:15pm to give a chance to all participants to network.

UCL EDUCATE is happy to be working with Digital Promise Global to bring you this workshop as part of London EdTech Week.
