Empowering researchers to be more successful.
Let Digital Science help you explore how administrators can provide powerful digital solutions that embed seamlessly into the research workflow.
Very kindly hosted by Queensland University of Technology, Digital Science is organising a half-day meeting between 9am and 1.15pm on February 4th, in which we will be introducing case studies and technology overviews from three of the companies in the portfolio, namely UberResearch, Overleaf and Labguru.
The engagement will cover how these companies can help you meet your strategic objectives in regard to more effective digital research support and increased research productivity both at the desk and at the bench.
The provisional program is as follows:
Sue Hutley, Director, Library Services, QUT - Welcome
Stephen Leicht, co-founder, UberResearch, on how funding information can be used to understand unique expertise, and build productive research collaborations.
Shelly Miller, Sales & Marketing Manager, Overleaf, on how leading research institutions such as Caltech, Stanford and Purdue have built custom portals to enable collaborative scientific writing and efficient article submission
Jonathan Gross, Founder, Labguru and Hamutal Lotan, Product Manager, Labguru, on the applications for an electronic lab notebook solution from across the world. Case study examples will be drawn from both academic, and large and small biotechnology labs
Martin Borchert, Associate Director, Library Services (Information Resources and Research Support), QUT, and Stephanie Bradbury, Research Support Manager, on behalf of the QUT project management team, will also share their experiences on their procurement of an electronic lab notebook solution at the institution.
