On Thursday 8th December, Good Things Foundation in conjunction with the Sunderland Partnership will be holding an event to co-design a plan to make Sunderland a truly digital city.
With 12.6 million people in the UK lacking digital access and skills, the Sunderland Partnership is making a commitment to ensure all residents have the opportunities they need to access the services relevant to them.
Digital Sunderland will bring together partners from across the sectors, with attendees from within the local authority, social housing providers, voluntary and community sector organisations, advice providers, health and social care organisations, financial institutions and large employers within the city being encouraged to attend.
The event will give you a chance to get involved in practical workshops and breakout sessions to help shape Sunderland’s Digital Strategy, and the top priorities for the city. You’ll also get to make your pledge for how you, or your organisation, can help make a difference.
The event will run in the morning, with arrival from 8.30, the event due to start at 9.15 and finish by 1. The event will be held at Bede Tower in Sunderland City Centre, and you can register for a ticket for free here. Refreshments will be provided.
