The event comprises two workshops, the first explores the use of Apps in Creative Arts Therapies while the second outlines GDPR guidelines.

Time: 11am - 1pm 'There's an App for That - Exploring the Use of Apps in Creative Arts Therapies' facilitated by Rowena Keaveny, Art Therapist

In this CPD workshop participants will explore the use of Apps in a therapeutic context with diverse client groups. They will also have the opportunity to explore and engage with their use experientially. Participants are asked to bring a digital device with them on the day.

Rowena Keaveny is a practising artist and art therapist based in Offaly. She is currently working with the organisation, “Autism Initiatives” in their Tallaght and Glasnevin services with young adults. Rowena has a special research interest in the use of technology and digital narrative in art therapy as an additional tool to support understanding of individual experience & aid for self-discovery.

Time: 2pm to 4pm Data Protection Workshop facilitated by Vivien Byrne, Data Protection Ireland Commission
