Explore Fab Lab London’s textile lab and have fun getting to know the wonderful world of digital embroidery and vinyl heat pressing!
This event is for kids aged 8-13. The textile workshop event is built around decorating a T-shirt through designing artwork to be embroided and heat pressed.
Participants will be given with a plain t-shirt and will be asked to design two artworks on the laptops provided. The designs will be downloaded and modified to their liking, and they will then get busy getting their artworksembroided and heat pressed.
This event is a fun way to introduce your little ones to textile machinery and general making, to exercise their creativity and for them to explore the way their clothes are made.
At the end, participants will be able to take their T-shirts home and proudly show them off to their friends. All they need to bring is themselves and bags of creativity!
Sounds fun? Bring along your friends and siblings, we are looking forward to seeing you and having fun making together!
