Section 2: Speak the Language
- What’s everyone talking about? Get familiar with screenwriting terminology
- The key documents: Pitch decks, spec scripts, pilot scripts
- Real-world examples and templates
Section 3: Getting Momentum
- Agents, managers: When and why you might need one
- How to share your work (festivals, awards, online platforms)
- Where to find support (e.g. ScreenSkills and beyond)
Hands-on Exercises
- Craft a logline for your project and get peer feedback
- Draft your own pitch deck with tips and templates

About the Facilitator
Daljinder. has worked in producing and development across theatre, audio, film and TV independently and with companies like Boundless Theatre, Hat Trick Productions and Rural Media. Her work has been broadcast on Channel 4 and BBC Sounds and been screened and staged at Tribeca Film Festival, BFI London Film Festival and Arcola Theatre. She is passionate about regional representation, living and working across the Midlands and parts of the North as well as championing Global Majority, working-class and LGBT+ stories.
