Welcome to DigitalSurrey 2013!
The initial DigitalSurrey of 2013 will be the first of its kind, as we’ll be joined by Joe Freeman, Digital Engagement Manager of charity Diabetes UK. Joe will be sharing his insights, analysis and challenges working in the digital space for a charitable organisation.
This leading UK charity for Diabetes, cares, connects and campaigns for all people affected and at risk of the condition. The online element of the charity is crucial in connecting people to provide support, information and advice. The charity has facilitated an active presence to provide an engaging and safe place which makes a profound difference to people’s lives.
Surrey Police is generously providing a space for us to meet at its Mount Browne HQ in Guildford. They are also offering guests the opportunity for an exclusive tour of the Mount Browne Museum, which includes fascinating displays tracing the history of the Force from its beginnings in the county from 1829 right up until the present day. If you would like take part in the tour, please email us and state your preferred time slot of 6pm or 6.30pm.
Just to mention that security is tight at Mount Browne so if you can bring along a copy of your ticket that will help expedite your entry to the event. Further parking information will be available on EventBrite.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
