About this event

Community • Heritage

Our free Digitisation Workshops help organisations gain an understanding of the processes involved in starting a digitisation project from the very start, all the way to a successful post-process and finish.

The digitisation workshop is for the libraries, archives and museums sector with our main aim being to show you an end to end digitisation process from capture through to online serving of the digitised content. Included in the day is a tour of our digitisation studios where you will be shown the wide variety of equipment we use and specialist methods.

As well as talks, discussion sessions are inserted into the agenda to give everyone attending the workshop a chance to air specific questions about their projects, both with the experts in the room and with each other.

These will not be panel sessions, instead we will be spreading our speakers and experts throughout the room so that more people have a chance to converse about what interests them. There will also be lunch, tea breaks and time available after we conclude at 3:30pm to ask further questions.

Whilst the event begins at 10am, if you find yourself arriving early, we would be happy to make you a cup of tea or coffee whilst you wait. If you arrive via train, please inform us prior and we would be happy to send someone to collect you from the train station.

We hope to see you there!
