Digwyddiad Diweddaru'r Cwricwlwm

Yn ystod haf 2019, cafodd ysgolion a phartneriaid eu gwahodd i ymgysylltu â'r Cwricwlwm i Gymru er mwyn rhoi adborth ar ei ddatblygiad hyd yma. Yn ystod yr hydref, yn dilyn adborth helaeth, bydd y cwricwlwm yn cael ei fireinio ac, ym mis Ionawr 2020, bydd y fersiwn terfynol yn cael ei gyhoeddi. Mae'r byd yn gwylio'r cyfnod diwygio cyffrous hwn, sy'n gyfle unwaith mewn cenhedlaeth i lunio dyfodol addysg yng Nghymru.

Fe'ch gwahoddir i ddigwyddiad gan ERW a fydd yn egluro'r sefyllfa gyfredol, y newidiadau, a'r datblygiadau diweddaraf. Byddwn yn amlinellu'r cymorth sydd ar gael i ysgolion o ran datblygu eu cwricwlwm ac o ran darparu'r dysgu proffesiynol y mae ar ymarferwyr ei angen i sicrhau twf. Bydd yna gyfle i archwilio'r egwyddorion eang sydd wrth galon y Cwricwlwm i Gymru, sef ‘hanfod y dysgu’ sy'n tanategu ei ddiben a phwysigrwydd tegwch profiad. Bydd yna hefyd gyfle i fyfyrio ar gryfder eich cwricwlwm ac ystyried, gyda chydweithwyr, strategaethau pellach ar gyfer llunio cwricwlwm eich ysgol.

Mae'n bwysig bod y pennaeth neu uwch-arweinydd yn bresennol yn y digwyddiad yr hydref a digwyddiad y gwanwyn, fel ei gilydd, er mwyn cael clywed am y datblygiadau diweddaraf i'n cwricwlwm newydd yng Nghymru. I hwyluso hyn, bydd ERW yn rhoi £300 i bob ysgol yn gyfraniad tuag at gostau. Byddwch yn gallu hawlio cyllid yn y digwyddiad.

Curriculum Update Event

During the summer of 2019, schools and partners were invited to engage with the Curriculum for Wales in order to give feedback on its development so far. During the autumn, following extensive feedback, the curriculum will undergo a period of refinement and in January 2020 the final version will be published. The world is watching this exciting period of reform, a once in a generation opportunity to shape the future of education in Wales.

You are invited to an ERW event which will provide clarity on the current position, the changes and the most recent developments. We will outline the support available for schools in developing their curriculum and in providing practitioners with the professional learning needed to bring about growth. There will be an opportunity to explore the broad principles at the core of Curriculum for Wales, the ‘essence of learning’ which underpins its purpose and the importance of equity of experience. There will also be time to reflect on your curriculum strengths and to consider, with colleagues, further strategies for shaping your school’s curriculum.

It is very important that the headteacher or a senior leader attends both the autumn and spring events to be kept u to date with the most recent developments of our new curriculum in Wales. In order to facilitate this, ERW will be providing each school with £300 as a contribution towards costs. You will be able to claim funding at the event.

Organised by

Mae ERW yn gynghrair o 4 awdurdod lleol sy’n cael ei rheoli gan gyd-bwyllgor a gyfansoddwyd yn gyfreithiol. Ei nod yw gweithredu’r strategaeth ranbarthol a’r cynllun busnes a gytunwyd i gefnogi gwella ysgolion.

ERW is an alliance of 4 local authorities governed by a legally constituted joint committee. Its aim is to implement the agreed regional strategy and business plan to support school improvement.
