Dinner at the Roundhouse is the UK’s flagship railway networking event.

About this event

The 10th Dinner at the Roundhouse in 2021 brought together over 680 guests from across the UK’s rail sector for the industry’s favourite gathering. This audience looks set to increase for 2022 as we settle into our new home at Derby Arena!

Celebrating collaboration and innovation, Dinner at the Roundhouse brings together operators, manufacturers, constructors, consultants and partners from across the supply chain with local and national politicians to help shape the future of our vibrant and fast-moving sector.

This year we are delighted to confirm that Andy Byford, Transport for London Commissioner, has the date in his diary to deliver our keynote address.

Andy brings with him a wealth of experience in the transport sector, having held some of the highest-profiles roles in the industry. Starting at London Underground, he has held management positions at South Eastern Trains and Southern before becoming the highly-acclaimed CEO of the Toronto Transit Commission and later the President of the New York Transit Authority. He returned to the UK in 2020 to take up the role of Transport for London Commissioner.

Dinner at the Roundhouse is also about demonstrating the generosity within the railway sector. To date we have helped to raise over £140,000 for charity, proving our sector’s incredible power to drive change and help those in need locally, nationally and around the world.

With almost 450 guests already confirmed for this year’s event, we look forward to seeing you all later in the year – mark the date in your diaries, 20 October 2022!
