Join us for our next Dinner Salon to discuss Acumen Fund’s 7th lesson: If failing is not an option you've ruled out success as well.
Some entrepreneurs even say that success is directly proportional to the attempts made to reach it. In fact, it is only by trying that one may know whether a project may work and how to make it work. Every hero has failed and every innovation was a failure at a certain point in time. Nonetheless, failing remains a very taboo topic. Come join the discussion!
Registration and information can be found at:
WHO: We encourage people that are interested in this topic to come and join the discussion. Particularly, if you've worked on a project that hasn't achieved the desired outcome then this would be a great opportunity to discuss and share the learnings. Tickets are limited to 18 people.
WHAT: The purpose of the Dinner Salon is simply to have a great conversation on a topic that is essential to those working to find solutions to the world’s most challenging issues as well as to entrepreneurs more generally. The discussion will be based on a set of readings and videos related to the theme. Once registered you will receive the reading and video content via email to prepare you for evening.
Ticket prices are £30, this includes plates of food for everyone to share and dessert. Drinks are not included, however they can be purchased separately at the bar.

When & Where
London+Acumen is a group of passionate volunteers who work together to promote the values of Acumen within the London community, and to spread the word about how impact investing and patient capital can be used to challenge the way the world tackles poverty.
We run courses, events, projects and initiatives that spread the word about impact investing, build capability within the social enterprises and bring people together who are passionate about supporting Acumen's mission to change the way the world tackles poverty.
We are one of 24 chapters around the world seeking to apply the principles and values of Acumen within our own communities. Please vist our website, like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter for more information about us and to see our upcoming events.
