The Direct Booking Summit is back! And this year, we're taking it to sunny San Diego.

Frequently Asked Questions

What Covid safety measures will be put in place this year?

- Regular cleaning and sanitization of surfaces will take place throughout the Summit, and hand sanitizer will be widely available.

- Current Local State & Center of Disease Control Guidelines state that the Marriott Marquis hotel does not require masks for guests that have been fully vaccinated.

- Non-vaccinated guests are required to wear a mask throughout the public hotel space, including the event meeting rooms. This is all based on the honor system, no hotel employee will be requesting validation for this.

- Marriott Hotel employees are not required to wear a mask if they are fully vaccinated. If they are not vaccinated they are required to wear a mask. Employees are also temperature checked each time they enter the hotel building.

- As we all now know so well, regulations are subject to change but we’ll communicate quickly with all attendees if there’s any new information.

Is the event taking place in person, virtually or as a hybrid event this year?

The Summit will be a 100% in-person event.

What’s the refund policy?

A full refund minus Eventbrite’s non-refundable fee is available up to 7 days before the event start date.

What’s the dress code?

Whatever you feel most comfortable in! Most guests wear business casual and dress up a bit more for the main party on Monday 25th October. The Beach Party on Sunday 24th October is casual.
