Direct Payments Support Group ONLINE with Zoe Thomas (Skills for Care)

Introducing the new support service in Sheffield, The Direct Payment Peer Support Service and our 1st Online Peer Support Event with guest speaker Zoe Thomas from Skills for Care.

We will be hosting speaker and individual employer Zoe Thomas to learn more about what resource Skills for Care have available for IEs and PAs including funding for training.She will also talk about the National and regional IEPA networks that are available.

We will also run a support circle where you can discuss issues with your Direct Payment, meet other direct payments recipients for a chat, and talk about challenges and wins.

You can also have a say on how you would like the DPPSS service to look in the future.

This session is an opportunity to build a supportive community of DP recipients; Whether you recieve direct payments for yourself or manage them on behalf of someone else, this is a safe and confidential space for you to connect with others.

You will also have the opportunity to shape future peer support groups and events - we want to know what YOU want.
