DIRECTING NEW WORK with Imy Wyatt Corner

From dramaturgy to rehearsal room techniques - this two hour workshop will give an insight into directing processes. This is an opportunity to brush up on existing knowledge and develop new skills, with room for questions at the end.

IMY'S BIO

Imy Wyatt Corner is a Fringe First Award Winning Theatre director who has directed at theatres including Arcola Theatre, Park Theatre, Jermyn st Theatre and International Theatre, Frankfurt. Recently she was shortlisted for the RTST Peter Hall Award 2025 and was awarded the Nicole Kidman Bursary from MCG Futures. She was the Mackintosh Resident Assistant Director at Kiln Theatre 2024/5. She has also worked as an Assistant/ Associate Director in the West End and on UK Tours with Theatre Royal Bath. She was an Artistic Associate at Arcola Theatre 2023/4 and a Creative Associate at Jermyn St Theatre 2022/3. She has been a panellist on panels on set design at the V&A Museum and contributed a chapter to Aurora Metro’s book ‘Feminist Theatre: Then and Now’.
