A disused 25,000 sq ft warehouse off the Mancunian Way is going through significant changes to bring high quality bike trails to the heart of Manchester city centre - and we want you to come and help us build it!

These workshops will bring together the bike brains of Dirt Factory and making minds of Underway to create a whole bunch of items for the space using spare bike parts and YOU. A table made of a bike frame? Let's try it! Pedals as door handles? Why not!

This is a chance to experiment with the materials around us, how they can influence and shape the space, and is the perfect chance to pick up some knowledge about BMXing and joinery along the way...

Dirt Factory will house a range of exciting bike trails and features, designed for riders of all ages and abilities.

These workshops are free to attend but under-16s should be accompanied by an adult. No making or biking experience necessary.

Workshops are on a drop-in basis and what we'll be making will depend on items acquired and parts required, so keep an eye on @Dirt_Factory and @UnderwayMCR to stay in touch!
