Event description
Language and Communication - free online workshop session (course reference OS24).

About this Event

This workshop is available either as a follow on to our four-part Disability and Employment series, or as a stand-alone session. It supports delegates to overcome language or communication barriers they may experience when working with disabled colleagues or customers, with practical advice on how to initiate a more "comfortable" conversation.

For details of the workshop content, follow this link to the course page on our website.

Designed for Managers and Staff in any business sector or role, this tutor-led interactive, informative (and fun!) session is delivered by experienced trainers who have worked in the field of disability for over twenty years combined.

To reserve a place on this workshop, click the "Register" button and follow the instructions. Your booking will be confirmed in an email from the Be Ready Employer Hub.

Note 1: As a funded service, this training is available free of charge to Devon-based employers.  However, we recognise that employers from other areas may also wish to attend our online workshops. Therefore bookings from other areas in the UK will be held on a waiting list for any remaining spaces.

Note 2: All of the information provided in our training is relevant only to UK-based law and regulations. Therefore we cannot accept any bookings from outside the UK.
