Join the Be Ready team for a free half-hour introduction look inside our disability awareness training workshops for businesses.

About this event

The Be Ready Employer Hub currently has two training courses - Disability and Employment and Accessibility for Websites - and a Business-to-Business Learning Network.

This 30-minute taster webinar will show you what content we cover in these courses and how we ensure your learning sticks!

Please note:

Note 1: As a funded service, Be Ready's training is available free of charge only to Devon-based employers. However, we recognise that employers from other areas may also wish to attend our online workshops, in which case bookings from other areas in the UK will be held on a waiting list for any spare spaces.

Note 2: All of the information provided in our training courses is relevant only to UK-based law and regulations. We cannot accept any bookings from outside the UK.

Organiser of Disability Awareness Training for Business - 30 Minute Taster Webinar (2021

Our services include online Disability Awareness training. Currently we offer 3 courses:
- Disability and Employment - 4 part series (delivered weekly) covering topics such as the Equality Act (2010), Access to Work Grant, what are Reasonable Adjustments, Recruitment and Job Carving, and the Disability Confident award scheme.

- Language and Communication - a stand-alone workshop providing practical ways to overcome language and communication barriers people may experience when working with disabled colleagues or customers.

- Accessibility for Websites - this workshops provides practical advice to business owners/managers on how to make a website easier to attract, and be used by, disabled people by enabling them to be more accessible - for everyone!
