If you have a disability, you may be able to get support to help you access training, find work and progress in your job.
About this event
According to Scope, the disability equality charity, 19% of working - age adults are disabled and there are more than 4.1 people with disabilities in work. Unfortunately, sometimes disabled people face barriers to employment, but support is out there and employers are becoming increasingly positive about recruiting those with a disability, recognizing what they CAN do.
If you are disabled, have a long-term health condition or neurodiverse, you may bring with you additional benefits for an employer. For instance, you will have developed resilience, you may think about things differently from other people so can provide a different perspective, and perhaps, having faced difficulties yourself, you will have more empathy with the people you come across in your line of work.
This webinar will highlight the support available to you if you have a disability and are looking to find a job or training opportunity.
This event will be delivered via Microsoft Teams.
