Disability & Diversity

The training is open to organisations who operate or support employees who work within the North East Combined Authority area. There is no requirement for the registered office to be in the NECA area.

The workshop will cover:

• Understand inclusive terminology and helpful language
• Understand protected characteristics
• What do we mean by Discrimination, Victimisation, Harassment and Bullying
• Describe the benefits of a diverse workforce
• Explain your responsibilities in achieving an inclusive workplace

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you are unable to attend the workshop you, or your line manager, must cancel your booking as soon as possible by emailing: caroline@youthfocusne.org.uk, with name of attendee, date and title of the workshop.

If a cancellation is not received, you will be classed as a 'no show'. A late cancellation (fewer than five days) or 'no show' will mean that you will not be able to book further North East Youth Alliance training for a period of three months.

Once you have made a booking to attend the workshop, an email will be sent to confirm place.
