Description

22nd November to the 22nd of December is UK Disability History Month, an annual event creating a platform to focus on the history of the struggle of people with disabilities for equality and human rights. This year's theme is disability and art.

To observe Disability History Month at King's, Diversity & Inclusion will be hosting a breakfast film screening of a series of short films about the experience various kinds of visible and invisible disabilities.

Films so far include:

  • Henry Fraser mouth art timelapse
  • I Had a Black Dog his Name was Depression
  • My First Guide Dog – A Life Changing Experience
  • King’s Disability Advisory Service Student Profiles

The room is fully accessible and all films will have closed captions.

Light breakfast, tea and coffee will be provided.
