About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour

Welcome to the second of our Neurodiversify Summer Series - Disability Is Not a Dirty Word. Join us for a powerful, thought-provoking talk that will challenge everything you think you know about disability.

Blending humour, personal storytelling, and sharp insight, this session introduces key ideas from disability theory in a way that’s accessible, engaging, and deeply human. Whether you're new to the conversation or already part of the disability community, this talk offers a fresh perspective on how society defines — and often limits — what it means to be disabled.

You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of the social model of disability, the impact of language and stigma, and how we can all play a role in creating more inclusive spaces. This isn’t just a talk — it’s a mindset shift.
