Inspire children aged five to seven years with an exciting and interactive free live session all about cats, delivered by the experts at Cats Protection, the UK’s largest cat welfare charity.

Dates available throughout 2025. Join schools from across the UK to learn about caring for cats, their unique needs and how we make a better life for cats.

This exciting session engages children in exploring responsibility, empathy and animal welfare, all while keeping your learners actively involved.

Frequently asked questions

How will the event be run?

The live session will be run on Zoom. After booking your ticket you will receive a link to join and instructions for the day. We will use an interactive learning website to run activities and will provide all joining details on the day.

Will you be able to see and hear my classroom?

Microphones and cameras will be disabled but the chat box will be available.

I work with children older than five to seven years, is this event suitable?

We are running different sessions for a range of age groups. Please visit our Eventbrite profile to find the best event for your students.

Will the event be recorded?

No, due to the interactive nature of the sessions they won't be recorded. However, we are running sessions throughout the year so please check out our Eventbrite page for alternative dates.

Do I need a ticket per student?

No, the whole class can join through one main screen using one ticket.

How much is it to attend?

The sessions are completely free of charge.

Will I be able to ask questions?

Yes, there will be a chance to ask questions at the end and we will answer as many questions as possible. You can always email us afterwards too if you have more questions for us.

What should I do if I don't receive my ticket?

Please contact us at education@cats.org.uk and we will be happy to help.

Will I see real cats?

You will see photos and videos of real cats who have been helped by Cats Protection.
