Discover Entrepreneurship: Liverpool
Event Information
Description
LSE Generate is excited to announce we will be taking a number of entrepreneurial students, alumni and staff to Liverpool to explore the entrepreneurial scene outside of London!
After feeling the effects of globalisation and automation, Liverpool has been transformed into one of the UK’s leading business destinations by an ambitious and far-reaching regeneration programme. The city has had a renewed focus on social innovation and sustainability, and our trek will explore this through interaction with a number of local entrepreneurs (to be announced) as well as a peer-to-peer mentoring workshop. An example of regeneration projects in Liverpool includes the Baltic Quarter and the University medical incubator. We are hoping to arrange a meeting with the Mayor of Liverpool at the end of the day to discuss the regeneration of the city with LSE students and academics.
Students and academics are required to book their own transport for the day. The schedule will be emailed to those who sign up to the trek via Eventbrite. If you have any queries email generate@lse.ac.uk.
Please do not book your transport until your place is confirmed by Generate.
