We have more than two million maps in our collection. From early manuscript and printed maps to the latest digital mapping, discover the treasures of our map collection. This talk is a general introduction to the Map Collection, and also highlights the 200,000+ maps on our website. Includes demonstration of how to view georeferenced maps, overlay and compare maps, print or buy historical maps.

This introductory talk, and question and answer session, will last approximately one hour. It will be followed by a 30 minute supported session to help you get the most out of the maps website.

Venue: Moving Image Archive at Kelvin Hall.
