Discover The Artist in You! A Four-Week Art Workshop Series
Join glass enthusiast Rev Timothy Keith Sandow, in Week 4 of our adults-only taster workshops for JH Members, at Jersey Museum.
Our 4-week series of workshops will explore different ways to kickstart your creativity and introduce you to new ways of responding to the world around you through art and crafts.
Week 4: Panels and Pendants - glass fusing
This week's workshop, 'Panels and Pendants,' will focus on the technique of glass fusing to design and make colourful frit mould wearables and greeting card inserts. Keith will guide you through the process, giving you time to explore glass fusing methods and answer any questions you may have. You will also undertake a small group project to create floral glass panels using glass elements and murrine.
Whether you're a complete beginner or someone who wants to rediscover your artistic flair, this workshop offers you a fantastic opportunity to learn a new skill, relax, unwind and meet like-minded JH Members in a fun and supportive environment.
All abilities are welcome, and materials are provided.
Special Opportunity
At the end of the workshop series, your group project will be showcased in Discover the Artist in You!, an exhibition opening this December at the Link Gallery, Jersey Museum, in which you will be invited to a private view.
