Practicalities
Meet at 2pm on the grassy area by the start of the Millennium Bridge, Rowntree Park side. Look for the people in purple York Bike Belles vests!
Please allow up to 2 hours for the walk. It will take place at a steady pace, with breaks where desired. Please note that group numbers are limited to 12 people.
Check the weather forecast beforehand and wear suitable clothing. Please do not attend if you are unwell. Bring any personal medication and, ideally, hand sanitiser and a face covering in case they are needed. Wear walk and mud-friendly shoes.
We try to make all our walks and rides accessible for people of all ages and abilities. Please get in touch if necessary, and we’ll do our best to meet your needs. This route is mostly flat, and there is one stile.
Do consider travelling to the activity by sustainable transport if you can. All start points are easily accessible by bus or bike. There is cycle parking near the start point.
Please email yorkbikebelles@gmail.com if you have any questions.
