Description

Get behind-the-scenes insight into the fascinating world of composing and performing music for the harp. With no specialist knowledge needed, this event gets you up close and personal with award-winning harpist Oliver Wass and composer Martin Scheuregger as they lead you through a hands-on workshop, performance and discussion where you get the chance to hear, learn about and even compose for the harp.

Hosted in the light and welcoming space of Mansions of the Future, this event will be friendly, accessible and open to all. Any questions can be sent directly to the event organiser, Martin Scheuregger, by emailing him at mscheuregger@lincoln.ac.uk.

10:30 arrival and free refreshments

10:45–12:15 interactive workshop

12:15–13:00 break for lunch (not provided)

Venue information

The event will be held on the ground floor of Mansions of the Future. The spaces being used are all accessible via ramps of differing gradients, there are fully accessible public toilets and there is seating provided.

The venue is next to Lincoln Bus Station, directly opposite Lincoln Train Station and Lincoln Central Car Park is located nearby. There is no dedicated parking at the venue.
