Discover the story behind the shot with wildlife photographer Andy Rouse
Sat 29 April 2017, 13:30 – 14:30 BST
Join Park Cameras Ambassador Andy Rouse for a 60-minute session to learn how he captures breath-taking shots in the wild using cameras including the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV and EOS-1D X Mark II.
Using some of his most recent and evocative work on tigers, lemurs and owls, Andy will analyse his images from both a technical and aesthetic standpoint, sharing with you his tips and tricks to get the best out of the kit that you use. The emphasis will be on getting good images in-camera, rather than using post processing. Andy will also be showing some of his recent video work and why he is moving more into multimedia.
Also within this 60-minute session Andy will show you a selection of his favourite shots for the year, and will allow you to discover the story behind the shot! He’ll describe the different equipment that he used to capture these fantastic shots, to hopefully inspire you to improve your wildlife photography.
Throughout the session there will be plenty of time to have your questions answered – plus there will be an opportunity after the session to speak to Andy or a representative from Natural World Safaris about their forthcoming Antarctica expedition cruise.
As a highly talented and multi award-winning photographer, Andy has been in the trusted position as a Canon Explorer for a number years, and as such has been able to use his experience and passion for photography to test out the EOS-1D X Mark II, feeding back information, and test shots / videos back to Canon Europe to assist with the development of the product. There is therefore, no-one better to guide you through the camera, and to inspire your photography.
There will be plenty of time to ask Andy questions throughout the session to get all your questions answered!
