About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

What makes Walthamstow Wetlands so special, locally and internationally? What wildlife can be found around the reserve? What is the history of the Engine house? How many Londoners are supplied with drinking water from the reservoirs?

Come and find the answers to these questions and many more about Walthamstow Wetlands on a guided walk around the reserve, led by our experienced, friendly guides.

This is a gentle walk around the reserve on paths - there may be some gentle inclines, strong stout footwear recommended. The walk will last approximately 1.5 hours and will be fully outdoors - so dress for the weather! Please bring some water and if you have binoculars do bring them, but it’s not essential.

This walk is for over 18s and children over 12 accompanied by an adult. Further information will be sent out prior to the event.
