Wensleydale is blessed with numerous waterfalls and Yorkshire's largest lake - so on this waterfall, we'll enjoy capturing watery scenes from across the valley.
Our first stop will be the beautiful West Burton Force - which is just 100 yards away from the car park!
From there we'll take in Aysgarth and a few other less known gems in the valley around Askrig.
The ultimate destination will be at the banks of Semerwater for the sunset hour - hopefully we'll get amazing reflections of a red sky in the still water.
If the sky isn't great, we'll have a few tricks to "spark" your imagination!
Who is this for?
From beginner to experienced photographes - tuition will initially be by group demonstration, so everyone can see how to get exposures correct for waterfalls.
Less experienced will get help 1-2-1 with exposure etc.
More experienced - bring questions and we'll help with things like focus and composition
Those without cars should be able to get a lift from the Leeds area - or maybe get picked up from Skipton.
The main tour is best with minimum cars involved (because of small car park spaces at some of the water falls) so we may meet and transfer to fewer cars if possible.
We'd recommend the following as a minimum
- Lenses - wide and long
- Fully charged batteries
- Empty memory cards - back them up before coming
- Tripod - we'll be doing long exposures, so these are essential
Also recommmended but not essential
- ND Grad fitlers
- ND Filters
- Cable release
- Polariser filter
