Your Discovery Evening: An Introduction to Walking Football.
A Slower Version of the Beautiful Game!
Walking football is a slower version of the beautiful game, which is a minimal contact sport with one main difference to standard football – no running! It is a great way to keep fit, learn new skills, have fun and socialise all. It is designed to help people get fit or maintain an active lifestyle no matter what their age or fitness, with many playing the game seeing many benefits including lower heart rate and blood pressure, less fat and more muscle, and better mobility.
Bournemouth University are offering free Saturday sessions (12midday to 1.00pm) starting on 25th February open to men and women over 50 years of age with an opportunity to relax and socialise afterwards in the student centre coffee shop.
This Evening Discovery Talk by the Bournemouth University organisors offers you, your friends and family the opportunity to come and find out more about Walking Football, their free offer, and to see if its right for you before you venture onto the pitch!
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
