This focused morning session will take managers and supervisors through the different types of discrimination and how to recognise them. The course will cover how to effectively deal with any types of discrimination or harassment that could occur and maintain a safe and happy working environment. Successful discrimination claims have no compensation limit so book now to avoid any extremely costly tribunal claims.
What is discrimination?: An overview of what discrimination is and what characteristics may be discriminated against.
Types of discrimination: The different ways in which a person may discriminate (some are easier to spot than others) and how to differentiate and recognise them.
Disability discrimination: A closer look at disability discrimination, including the legal definition of disability and employers legal requirements in relation to disabled employees.
Harassment, bullying and victimisation: A look into the difference between these three issues and how they may be dealt with in practice.
Preventing discrimination: What your business can do to put in place preventative measures against discrimination in the workplace and why this is essential.
Dealing with issues: Procedures to follow and actions to take if you suspect or know discrimination is taking place in your workplace.
