The SG Admin will add your email address to the Microsoft Teams calendar invite once you book onto the training, the link to joint he meeting/training will be on the calendar invite.

Bolton CCG SG Team are proposing to trial a safe space for GP Safeguarding Leads to come together within your area to discuss safeguarding cases using a reflective model. The initial session will be held for 1 ¼ hrs and we will discuss up to 2 case. If you have a case you wish to discuss then please contact Claire Sedgley in the CCG SG Team prior to the session to highlight this and we will be in touch to advise what information will be needed on the day.

There is no obligation for you to attend however, as a CCG Safeguarding Team we are aware of the pressures you experience in your role and we are looking at different options in how we can support you to develop your confidence in safeguarding practice and also meet the requirements of undertaking safeguarding supervision as per the NHS Safeguarding Contractual Standards, which came up as a common request during the safeguarding assurance audits completed by the team in 2019/2020.

We will be requesting feedback from you following the session so we can review the usefulness and outcomes of the session which will inform future practice. The sessions will be facilitated by one of our Named GP’s for Safeguarding & also our Safeguarding Practitioner/Designated Safeguarding Leads
