Workshop content

Discussing sex in the counselling room offers therapists vital clues to a person’s inner world, attachment style and general mental health. There are many reasons why practitioners might not feel comfortable discussing intimacy within the context of therapy - but this course is specifically designed to help. Content includes:

· Understanding our own position in relation to the client’s material

· Sex and its link to mental health

· Common sexual difficulties

· Exploring difference

· Recognising how and when to refer for specialist help

Small Course Numbers

This is an interactive workshop and therefore places will be limited to 12.
