Event description

Description

Join the London Flying Club for a discussion with the former Chief Pilot of British Airways' Concorde Programme. He will share insights about the formation and running of the most innovative commercial aviation programme in history.

The Concorde is an aviation icon, traveling at the edge of space faster than a speeding bullet. They are a marvel of aerodynamic efficiency, with unique design features throughout, most notably the movable nose cone, engine inlets and integrated wings.

Mr Bannister is currently the Vice-Chairman of the Brooklands Museum in Surrey and is sure to share stories from preserving the heritage of that amazing site, which coincidentally houses the only fully-functioning Concorde simulator.

We do not charge to attend our events, but donations are much appreciated to cover drinks and nibbles. Suggested at GBP 10.00 per person. Thanks!
