We are a group of Leeds folk who are dismayed by the extent of poverty in Leeds.
We meet from time to time to figure out what we can do to make a difference. This has resulted in arts projects, benefit checking low paid council employees, supporting summer free school meals and a number of similar projects.
We are united by a belief that it is not just enough to vote and expect politicians and professionals to sort things out. We all have a part to play, however small.
So, if you are concerned about poverty in Leeds and want to find ways to turn concern into action then please do join us.
It will be a friendly session full of inspiration, ideas and lovely people from all walks of life.
You can choose to join us for the whole day, or for just the morning or just the afternoon...
Please help us to spread the word in whatever way you can....
