Gordon Venters is Head of Engineering, Sectors Scottish Enterprise. Gordon started his career at IBM, “The World’s Largest Computing firm” and held a number of roles before setting up his own business. Gordon has worked in Scottish Enterprise for 7 years.
Nick Shields is Director of The Scottish Manufacturing Advisory Service, Scottish Enterprise. Nick started his career in Digital Equipment, “The World’s 2nd Largest Computing firm”. Nick went on to work for Polaroid and several Scottish Engineering firms. Nick has a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Glasgow and an MBA from The University of Strathclyde.
