The Department of Politics and International Relations at the University of Westminster invites all Level 6 students to a Dissertation ‘Away Day’ at the University of Brighton.
During this day you will have the chance to take stock of your research on the Dissertation, discuss the feedback you have received on your outlines, as well as learn how to successfully turn your outline into a great Dissertation. The day will feature a mixture of presentations by members of staff and external speakers, as well as time for group work, peer review and independent work.

8.30am: Coach departs from Wells St
10.30am: Arrival in Brighton
11-1pm: Session 1: How to progress from outline to a complete dissertation (lecture, plus group activities on outline feedback and ‘flash talks’)
2-3.30: Session 2: What does a good dissertation look like? (lecture, plus small group discussions)
3.30-6pm: Tour of Brighton
6pm: Dinner (£10 deposit required -- to be given in person to Dibyesh Anand or Dan Conway on 8 December 2016 between 1-5pm, before the Department Christmas Party)
8.30: Return coach to London
10.30pm: Arrival in London
